One of the biggest shifts in my path from Computer Science to Human-Computer Interaction is that I stopped thinking about whether a system simply works and started thinking about whether people can understand, trust, and effectively work with it over time. That perspective shapes the kind of work I am most interested in.
I am interested in building systems at the intersection of engineering and human-centered design, where technical performance and human experience are inseparable. Whether I am developing AI-powered products, designing evaluation infrastructure, or building user facing applications, I focus on making complex systems observable, reliable, and understandable.
My work often centers on the layers that connect model behavior, system behavior, and user behavior. I am interested in how data is collected and structured, how decisions are made within a system, how those decisions can be measured and evaluated, and how people develop trust in the outputs they receive.
